User Interfaces

The following are typical user interfaces for Conssero’s “Connect” application….

PC with Web Browser

Any PC or laptop with Internet Explorer v 6.0 or higher can be used to access our application and indeed, many of the features and facilities provided work best on an everyday desktop PC, seen here is a partial screen shot from the tenant broadcast module.

The application uses both visual and audio alerts to users and is designed to be intuitive to use. A simple menu structure guides the user around the application to the features and facilities the user needs. Upon the user logging in a dashboard of up to the minute information is delivered as a home page.

Site Terminal

A key part of the success of our “Connect” application is our patented site terminal.
It provides one of the major interfaces at site level to collect information in €œreal time€ from maintenance personnel carrying out planned maintenance or dealing with reactive site requests. The site terminal is also accessible to a representative from the building (security guard, porter etc) to report faults, gain updates or send messages to all parties.

Merging new technology with traditional good old business practice the site terminal allows for the secure “clocking in and clocking out” of all external service providers. The same device is used to present and confirm acceptance of Health and Safety certification, permit to work and lone worker management.

The site terminal is an extremely robust PC, deployed as a web browser with a touch screen overlay. As each site terminal is at a fixed location, with a unique IP address, it provides a very secure linkage to a specific building or site. And it’s worth noting that although terminals utilise the web they do not permit personal web browsing.

IP Phone

Shown here is one of the latest generation of Cisco IP phones with a colour touch screen web browser. The phone makes an ideal interface for the retail sales data gathering module, tenant broadcast and security modules and the self-service facilities management module.

Fully integrated it will ring the phone whenever there is a broadcast or significant message update for the user. Its soft keys are also programmed to make available various functions including a discrete security feature.

PDA

Whereas the Site Terminal is static and ideally designed for external service providers visiting the site, the PDA is perfect for internal teams, lone workers and mobile/multi-site operatives. Its multi-function capability ensures field staff and others are being updated in “real time” and enables users, in turn, to update the platform on tasks completed and other events and requests.
