BUILDING COLLABORATION

Conssero plc was established in 2002 following a development project with Kingston University under a KTP “Knowledge Transfer Partnership” scheme. We are an independent company committed to improving collaboration between key stakeholders in property, namely, owners, managers and tenants.

We offer a low cost on-line subscription service that provides a platform for property owners, managers, consultants, service providers, inspectors and tenants to collaborate together to improve service levels and realise significant cost savings.

All participants have access to the same data, dependent upon their permissions, and therefore transparency of service delivery, communication of key information and optimisation of all aspects of the performance of the buildings concerned can be realised.

With more and more service and maintenance contracts being written with key performance indicators and service levels needing to be met by out-sourced service providers, Adrian Godwin, the founder of Conssero, saw the need for a solution that would provide “closed loop control” of the service chain and by making the information transparent could improve service, increase speed and reduce costs.

The solution needed to be simple to use, cost-effective and web-based. In addition by dispensing with voice-based telephone calls to helpdesks and providing full automation of the complete loop from time/date stamping of an initial reactive request, to setting an ETA to respond, to logging the date/time of arrival on site of the service provider, updating interested parties all the way along in “real time”, until the final closing out of the site request is logged, huge savings in administrative costs can be achieved.

The company has developed this platform around their patented invention of the “site terminal” which turns an IP phone, web kiosk or any similar device, with a unique internet address, into a device for recording site events at a given location in a building. In this way all participants can be certain of the location from which the data, request or event has taken place when it is entered on to the web-based platform.

Today that solution now encompasses nearly two dozen modules ranging from reactive maintenance to tenant broadcast and from retail sales gathering to handling statutory equipment inspections. The solution is multi-lingual, multi-currency and multi-timezone. One portal for all stakeholders to share all the information in “real time”!
